Sellers and buyers of the type are a discerning bunch, thats why this site distances itself from the regular practices of estate agency. You won’t find a lot of the property here on a portal. No, what you have here is unadulterated marketing of the genre. We've been selling and letting lofts in London since the mid 1990s. Over that time, as the demand has exploded for alternative living spaces, we've seen many new lofts added to the scene and we've built up our own collection of favourite buildings, apartments, houses and whatnot. Some are simply lofts in their purest form, some push the concept to new boundaries, and some defy description.
But just what is a loft? A loft is many a splendid thing but, to us, it's a living space created from a former something-or-other (could be a warehouse, factory, school, church or stable; it could even be – gasp! – a brand new building) that exhibits a goodly few loft traits: industrial windows, high ceilings, iron columns and beams, exposed brick walls, exposed concrete ceilings, chunky wood floors, loading bay doors... along with an essence of the building's former role and commercial use. Anything that doesn't have at least a few of those, is not, we repeat, NOT a loft. That would be simply: "a nice flat". You won't find any of those here. From time to time we'll also throw in some spectacular loft style "one-offs" that we know about or have dealt with: it's just good old property porn.
